I am thinking of doing a paper through Open Polytechnic. I'm tossing up between 72272 "Cataloguing and Classification " and "Library Systems and Processes" which go towards a Certificate in Cataloguing. I would appreciate comments from anyone who has done these or other papers about their value. I work in a Year 7-13 College. Do you find this valuable?

Hi Jane,
I'm happy to chat with you if you give me a call. I did the 72272 paper last year and found that I often drew on the information I had learned in the Information Industry paper which is the first paper in the Diploma course and a pre-requisite for the Processes course.
Go on apply for a study grant!
