Indigenous Paradigms BOK 11

Found some reading listed on the LIANZA site under BOK 11 Indigenous Paradigms and have just finished reading Marsden, M (1992) God, man and universe: A Māori world view. In King, M. (ed) Te Ao hurihuri: Aspects of Māoritanga. Auckland: Reed pp. 118-138 also available in his book - The Woven Universe...p2-23. Really worth reading. I found it an eloquent and yet solid piece of writing about the Maori worlds. I look forward to chasing the other items down and reading them.

Also check out the Maori Learning Environments page on the National Library site, the vimeo on the place of the school library and 10 reasons to read to your child are both bilingual. Plus some great resources and links for further reading. Links as above.
