Thank you so much to the 09 conference committee - you all worked incredibly hard, and delivered a conference of a very high standard. A wonderful learning, sharing, and networking experience for us all. 7  out of 7 found this valuable. Do you?

I totally agree, I found the conference very stimulating, inspiring and motivating. But I am so grateful I have some time to catch my breath - and catch up on sleep, before returning to work, my brain has gone to mush! 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

It was great fun and I have taken so much away from the combined wisdom that was there - sessions and networking with others. Was also great to hear the combined voice of school libraries trying to get our point across to Anne Tolley via Nicky Wagner. Surely we have to be heard soon. :-) Great also to put faces to names. As for the Conference dinner, well! Haven't had such a good shoulder massage in a long time. *blush* Hats off to all the organisers. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

I have to agree... the conference was so inspiring I'm itching to get to work to implement a little of what I learnt. I say 'little' because I learnt so much it would be impossible to do it all immediately! Thank you to everyone who had any input either as a committee member or presenter. WELL DONE!!! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I too add my congratulations to all involved in an amazing conference. Some terrific ideas to implement from truly inspirational librarians and speakers. Roll on Term 4 and 2010. Fun, fun, fun - very important aspect. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Thank-you so much for a great conference. Great organisation, great colleagues, great speakers, generous sharing of things that work well and gentle warnings about things that don't. I've come to the conclusion that there is a silver lining to working in an underpaid, underresourced and undervalued profession - nobody becomes a school librarian for the money, the status or the perks, and as a consequence, school librarians seem to me to be the most genuine, professional, passionate, fun, committed, caring group of people I have ever come across. Long live school libraries! 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

I do agree! Even though I couldn't afford to go to this wonderful conference. It sounds like everyone enjoyed themselves.

Wow!! - my first time to a conference, first time to fab Christchurch, first time on a plane in fifteen years - and I agree with everyone about the great exchange of ideas - many which I'll use in my school - plus everyday I laughed and laughed about one thing and another - so much humour in the presentations & events and in the funloving people I was lucky enough to meet - a huge thank you SLANZA committee and all involved 1  out of 1 found this valuable. My first time to a SLANZA conference, too. What a fabulous and inspiring three days, I'm going to be sending out the word. 'Get thee to the next SLANZA conference. These conferences are for ALL school librarians.' Ideas, inspiration, interesting people and a fun time. The organisation was awesome, the speakers were great and THAT dinner! Thank you everyone Do you find this valuable?

A huge thank you to the organisers of the SLANZA conference. It was very inspiring and motivating. The key note speakers were outstanding especially Nathan Mikare-Wallis and Denise L'Estrange-Corbet and of course the wonderful Suzette Boyd. The whole conference was so enjoyable and all the hard work by everyone involved was outstanding. Do you find this valuable?
