I joined this wiki because: It is another chance to talk to others in the profession (next school librarian is an hours drive away) The best word to describe me is: quiet Interests: reading, art, painting, movies, design Favorite books / TV / movies: New Zealand fiction, art books, picture books especially Shaun Tan, Anthony Browne, Colin Thompson, art magazines, music magazines, biography, history, recent books I have enjoyed are: Small Free Kiss in the Dark by Glenda Millard, The Hunger Games, The Book Thief, The Life of Pi. Love off beat comedy like the Mighty Boosh, Flight of the Conchords, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, recent movies I saw which I loved - Little Miss Sunshine, Happy Go Lucky, No Country for Old Men, Ponyo. What else you should know about me: I have been working in this school library since 2002 on and off. Prior to that I have worked in Auckland Public Library (1980s); temped in libraries in London for Task Force Pro Libra, Sydney University Libraries. This is my first and only school library!.
