The best word to describe me is: Conscientious Interests: My family and job, archives, history, genealogy, reading, embroidery, quilting, gardening Favorite books / TV / movies: Rush Home Road and Pillars of the Earth (books), Antiques Roadshow (boring I know) and even more boring "The Sound of Music" What else you should know about me: Happily married mum of two children aged 18 and 21. Have been at Otago Girls for seven years. Went to school here as well and am passionate about the history of the school and work as school archivist as well. Was originally a high school teacher at Rangi Ruru in 1983 after after 3 years overseas and while my children were young I did a diploma in family history research working as a professional genealogist. From there moved to working at the Otago Settlers Museum and then as an archivist at the Hocken Collections.
